Tabassum Yusuf

Tabassum Yusuf (b. 1960) paints as if following the path of her childhood dreams. As dreams do, her works spin many a yarn, all the characters fall into the plot of her story perfectly, canvas after canvas. The wildness of dreams is reinforced by the use of strong colours in the background. Despite multiple characters, emotions and activities happening inside of each dream, Tabassum manages to achieve a certain balance in her compositions which is the most amazing quality of her work. She has exhibited and conducted camps across India and overseas.
