Ganesha

Ganesha

10 days of celebrating Lord Ganesha at the South Asian Art Gallery

The vibrant and colorful festival of Ganesha Chathurthi is diluted this year by the many norms we have to follow. However, if the Vighna Vinayak has taught us anything, it is that in every obstacle lies an opportunity to find joy, happiness and togetherness with the community. At the South Asian Art Gallery, we are happy to celebrate one of the most beloved gods through a medium that connects one and all – art.

From watercolor with salt to paper clippings from National Geographic magazine, South Asian Art Gallery brings together the various depictions of Lord Ganesha by Indian Artists for the festival of Ganesha Chaturthi.
