Po Sharr

It is hard not to notice Po Sharr's love for Burmese culture and cultural symbols. What is central to his life almost always becomes the topic of his paintings. Most of his works proudly display Burma's ethnic and cultural symbols in a very poetic manner. Po Sharr is extremely fond of colors and textures but is also an artist who know where to use his restraint with it. This quality of the artist gives his canvases that unrealistic grandeur even in subdued colors.
